The Artist

Ron Wagner is an illustrator best known for his work for the major comic book publishers — D.C. Comics, Marvel, Image, and IDW. He has worked on titles such as G.I. Joe, Batman, Superman, Flash, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and many more.

Besides comic art, he has a deep interest in portraiture and has created many portraits of family, friends, and celebrities in all media — from pencil and pastel to oil paints.

In recent years Ron has also provided art for many murals locally. Most notably, for the Zombie Burger restaurants located in Iowa.

Ron continues to make comics, cartoons, portraits, and murals from his downtown studio in Des Moines, Iowa — with his trusty guitar by his side.
